Petition for Exception to MCD-BIOL Department Policy
(For Molecular, Cell and Developmental Biology BS, Neuroscience BS, Global and Community Health BS, Human Biology BS or Biology BS Majors)

Students who have a unique situation and would like the MCD Biology Department to consider substituting or waiving a particular requirement or policy may petition by writing a letter to the MCD Faculty Adviser on this webform. Note that approval is not guaranteed and usually requires extenuating circumstances  to justify the exception.

The MCD Biology Department will review the petition and the results will be emailed to students in approximately 15 business days. Email mcdadvising@ucsc.edu if you have any questions or concerns about this process.
