Proposed New SSEN 400kV Overhead Line & Hurlie Substation Questionnaire
12 Community Councils along the length of the proposed new 400kV Kintore to Tealing Overhead Line have come together and created a new questionnaire to understand and gather data on our communities opinion on the proposals.

The data gathered from your answers below will help form each Community Councils formal feedback to SSEN at the appropriate time and we will share the results of this questionnaire with all of our Local Councillors, our MSP's & MP's as well as SSEN.
Please note your personal data (name & email address ) will NOT be shared unless you indicate we can in the specific question further down.

A number of action / information groups have been formed along the route - Deeside Against Pylons, Save Our Mearns, Angus Pylon Action Group.
The action groups, will be a useful source of information for us all and we plan to regularly meet with them as this project progresses.
At this stage we are unaware of any Groups who have formed to support the proposal, but please let us know if you are aware of any.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to complete the questionnaire and give us your opinion.

The Community Councils that this information will be shared with are; Crathes, Drumoak & Durris, Kintore, Echt & Skene, Westhill & Elrick, Peterculter, North Kincardine Rural, Stonehaven & District, Mearns, Inveresk, Forfar, Kirriemuir Landward East, Glamis & Area.

Thanks for taking the time to complete the questionnaire and provide us with your thoughts.

Please complete one questionnaire per person, rather than per household, as this really gives us and relevant stakeholders a much clearer understanding of the community’s opinion.

We also urge you, if you haven't already to contact your Local Councillors, MSP, MP and SSEN and let them know your opinion on the matter.  It is important they hear from us with the specific details forming our opinion.
