The National Archives in New York City holds permanent records created by federal agencies and courts in New York, New Jersey, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Records of interest include invention records of Alexander Graham Bell, Charles Goodyear, and Thomas Alva Edison; records documenting maritime activity, including the Titanic and the Lusitania; transcripts relating to the Alger Hiss trial, immigration records from Ellis Island and Castle Garden, the Julius and Ethel Rosenberg Grand Jury Transcript, and more.
Please be aware that you must go through security to enter the building. We will be meeting at 10:45am outside the Alexander Hamilton U.S. Custom House, located at:
