After filling out this form, our Program Specialist will contact you to conduct an intake, with the purpose to confirm who's being invited to the space, and to just make sure the group is something that will fit for you. This intake will only take 10-15 mins, and must be conducted before the link for the meeting is shared with you.
SMART Recovery stands for Self-Management and Recovery Training. The program works by using the community to help people learn to manage their addictions and maladaptive behaviors, by giving and practicing tools that anyone can learn and utilize! This is a place for people coming from all types of addictions to come together and create community by supporting one another. I wanted to bring this to a Survivor space because as a Survivor, there are just not enough spaces where I can feel truly comfortable to share that part of myself, and I knew other Survivors must feel the same way! I'm so excited to be able to facilitate this group, and see where we go!
