Summer Baseball Interests
Is your son interested in playing baseball this summer?  Southern Door Youth Baseball is looking for ALL players who are interested.  The Southern Door Youth Baseball (SDYB) is a non-profit (501.3B) organization dedicated to teaching and developing community youth in the sport of baseball. The SDYB will promote teamwork, good sportsmanship and fair play while striving to provide quality instruction in the fundamentals and strategies of the game. The SDYB is committed to providing a positive environment for building character, self-confidence, discipline, courage, leadership, and community pride. We hope to foster an enjoyment and love for the game to last a lifetime. Tournament teams sponsored by the SDYB will encompass the same experiences, progressing in competitiveness as our participants grow their skills. The SDYB is a developmental program for the community, aiming to work with young athletes that will eventually attend Southern Door High School.

We are trying to have as many full teams as we can and combine ages when needed to create a team.  Each team will play in the Lakeshore League, which will allow them to play together as a Southern Door Team during the week.  Our hope is to get as many boys as we can to learn the game of baseball and have fun with their teammates.  Please answer the questions below, even if you participated in SD youth baseball last year.
This survey will help roster our teams and help coaches determine tournament interest.  Please complete by January 15th.
We will start having winter open gyms in February, more information to come at a later date.
