Order of the Burnt Marshmallow 2022-2023 nominations.
This form is to nominate a person for consideration of receiving induction into the Order of the Burnt Marshmallow.
Eligibility
Any member of the public may be nominated with the exception of any member of the public who has already received a nomination within the last 3 years or any member of the Awards committee.
Submission Procedure & Checklist
We will make every effort to contact those who have nominated a person, or those who have nominated themselves, to let them know of any missing materials, provided the nomination packet arrives at least two weeks before the deadline.
- On the online form, the nominator details why the nominee would be an appropriate recipient of the award.
- Biographical sketch, vita, and/or supporting documents for the nominee.
- List the significant contributions the nominee has made to their local community and their impact on the larger community, state, or nation.
- How the nominee embodies each of the qualities listed below.
Selection Criteria
Persons being nominated for this award will have consistently demonstrated qualities listed bellow
- Good Will: A nominee must exude good will towards others & a positive influence in their community
- Compassion : A nominee must show compassion to all living thins and not be the cause directly or indirectly of malice with intent to harm another.
- Loyalty : A nominee must show loyalty to what is right unless it would purposely endanger or harm another with intent of malice.
- Honorable : A nominee must be Honorable not just to themselves but to their community and fellow man.
- Brave : Above all else a nominee must be brave. While risking ones life may be one mark of bravery standing for those who cannot stand for themselves is another. Be a voice for the voiceless, be the one who stands in the face of injustice.

An individual may receive this award once.
PresentationThe Order of the Burnt Marshmallow Award winner will be notified via email. The award certificate will then be sent to them in their preferred method.
