BEAM is a free and engaging outdoor event showcasing art that incorporates light.

BEAM offers opportunities for artists to bring unique and engaging art experiences to the streets of Eugene.

Event Location: East Park Block, Oak St & 8th Ave, Eugene, OR

Produced by: ArtCity Eugene in partnership with City of Eugene Cultural Services through a grant award, the Downtown Program Fund.

Submissions may include projection mapping, installations, urban artscapes, media light, interactive art, video, music, performance, dance, any and all art that utilizes light. Due to Covid-19, artwork requiring public hands-on interaction will not be considered.

Submission Process: Artists are invited to complete the form below. Documentation of previous work and a general description and reference images of the work you intend to create for the event is required. The selection committee will review and consider all submitted materials. The final work is not required to be a rigid representation of the original proposal, but should be similar in quality and must utilize light.

After reviewing submissions, ArtCity will confirm acceptance status via email.

ArtCity will include selected artists in social media promotion.

Submission is free. Artists selected for participation will receive a $150 stipend after the completion of the event.
