TAC DST Partners In Education Program

WHAT IT IS: The TAC Partners in Education program is new initiative where members of our service area, local and national businesses, and other supporters in the community can financially contribute towards our scholarship fund on a consistent basis and be recognized for their support over a 2-year time span, renewing at the conclusion of the 2 years. The current cycle is for 2024 and 2025 scholarships, renewing in 2026.

WHAT IT WILL DO: Create a network of supporting individuals and businesses that are committed to helping Tallahassee area youth further their education via financial donations to our chapter scholarship account (Delta Research and Education Fund, or DREF).

WHO IT BENEFITS: Graduating high school seniors who reside in Leon, Wakulla, Jefferson, Madison and Taylor counties. Recipients are selected based on specific application criteria. Since 2013, we've awarded approximately 161 scholarships!

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU: Contribution perks for the current cycle include, but are not limited to:

All donors - regardless of amount - will be recognized as Partners in Education for the 2024-2025 cycle at the 2024 Scholarship Soirée taking place on Saturday, February 24, 2024
In partnership with the TAC May Week and Scholarship committees, all donors will be recognized at the 2024 and 2025 Scholarship & Awards programs
Tax-deduction on donations to DREF (less the cost of food if attending a TAC scholarship event)
Recognition and/or promotion as a Partner in Education at all TAC events based on scholarship, education, and, if applicable, business/economics (minimum $5000 donation)
A scholarship listed in your/your business's name (minimum $8000 donation)
Businesses/Business owners who donate a minimum of $10,000 may also distribute promotional material for their business at the aforementioned events (as long as it’s not in violation of any current Delta policy) at events, free of charge
Donors of $2500 or more may be extended automatic invitations to Delta community events; for business-related events, entrepreneurial donors will have first right of refusal as featured panelists, where applicable
