Teknowledge Slack Community Rules

1. BE KIND AND RESPECTFUL

This is a welcoming environment! Please treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but constructive criticism & positiveness is required.

2. NO HATE SPEECH OR BULLYING

Make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind is not allowed. Degrading comments regarding race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated. Harassment of any participants in any form is prohibited.

3. NON-TECH DISCUSSIONS

We are a DIVERSE group of individuals with equally diverse opinions. Discussions regarding (not limited to) politics & religion can be passionate but have the potential to turn negative. These posts will be monitored closely to ensure rules (1) and (2) are being followed. Posts that become unproductive or disruptive to the community will not be tolerated.

4. NO SOLICITING

Soliciting any kind of personal information (such as marital status, sexual orientation, phone number, address, etc.).

5. STAY ON TOPIC

Please keep all posts related to the Channel they are in and keep comments THREADED. Posts that are off topic may be deleted.

6. #GENERAL

The General channel is used ONLY for community announcements and topics that don't fit in other channels - please only post in #general if there is no other channel to post in.

7. GIVE MORE THAN YOU TAKE

Share your thoughts and ideas to make this a better community. Contribute more to this group than you take from it, and we will all be better for it!

8. PHOTOS

When posting photos of any type of installation, whether your own or in the field, please make sure you are relevant, constructive, and polite. No shaming.

9. NO SPAM

Please do not send any spam messages to our members. We do not welcome unsolicited promotional messages in DM.

10. ADVERTISEMENTS

We allow Vendors/Partners to post a single promotion or ad on Thursdays ONLY unless otherwise approved by a moderator. Any other day of the week, feel free to post in the #vendors channel.

11. NO RECRUITING TEAM MEMBERS OR CLIENTS OF OTHERS IN THIS COMMUNITY

#CommunityOverCompetition Please, no employee poaching, client poaching, or taking from others in any way. If you have been brought in to help on a job, you are there to help the member, not sell your services to the client. Offenders are subject to removal. If a member engages in behavior that violates this code of conduct, the Teknowledge Community Code of Conduct Team may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the community.
