Join 14th Street ANC Commissioners Sabel Harris (1B12), Kyle Mulhall (2B09), Brian Romanowski (2F01), & John Guggenmos (2F02) for a discussion moderated by ANC Commissioner Sherene Joseph (2F05) about neighborhood safety. Speakers will include Ward 2 Councilmember Brooke Pinto, Chief of the Juvenile Division in the Office of the Attorney General Jullian Brevard, Kimberley Pinkney from the Office of Neighborhood Safety & Engagement, Deputy Mayor for Public Safety & Justice Christopher Geldart, Assistant Metropolitan Police Department Chief Stuart Emerman, as well as representatives from Moms Demand Action, No Slide Zone, Momma's Safe Haven, the National Association for the Advancement of Returning Citizens, the TraRon Center, and Guns Down Friday. This meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 24th, at 6:30 PM, in-person at the Washington Plaza Hotel at 10 Thomas Circle and virtually streamed via a link that will be emailed to all who RSVP.
