For Fall Gathering this year, your co-clerks, the Events Committee and Ministry and Counsel invite us to consider the way that unconscious bias manifests in Friends' meetings even when white Friends don't intend it--even when white Friends believe they are working to eliminate it.
As a place to begin, we'll consider the letter written by our co-clerks concerning the situation at 2021 Spring Gathering Meeting for Worship with Attention to Business. If you have not yet seen that letter, you may write to our co-clerks Angela Hopkins and Antonia Saxon at <

FSRMRegistrar@gmail.comWe realize not everyone attended Spring Gathering Meeting for Worship with Attention to Business, or that some feel like this work doesn't apply to you, but you are not only invited, you are encouraged to attend. We absolutely need you. We want everybody to come. Everybody is important. This is all of our work.
