The New York International Children’s Film Festival will be returning this year across multiple venues for three weekends in March! We'd like to know if you're available to join us in sharing some incredible films with an enthusiastic, all-ages audience for the weekends of March 2nd & 3rd, March 9th & 10th, and March 16th & 17th.
NYICFF volunteers are essential to bringing the Festival to life every year. We are looking for individuals who are dedicated to delivering culturally rich film experiences for young audiences.
Our talented volunteers are critical to the Festival's success and are involved with many elements including:
- Theater management and ticketing
- Merchandise
- Special events and activities
- Interacting with patrons (such as young people, parents, filmmakers & film enthusiasts!)
Requirements:
- Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age.
- Volunteers must be available for at least three (3) shifts during the Festival and attend one (1) orientation session.
As a volunteer, you'll get:
- The chance to see some great festival films - for free!
- A behind-the-scenes look at how a film festival comes together
- An official NYICFF T-Shirt
- Snacks
- A chance to work with fellow film enthusiasts!
Once you've completed the form, keep an eye out for a welcome email that will help get you started for this festival season, including instructions on how to sign up for shifts, volunteer orientations, and more!
