EmpowerHER program designed to empower and equip a select group of teen girls aged 13-18 with essential life skills, knowledge, and confidence as they transition back into the community from detention placement, battle homelessness, or need just postive vibes.The podcast will feature a woman guest on a special topic on sexual safety, positive relationships, good feminine habits, self-empowerment, self-defense, or leadership development. Each participant will get the opportunity to rotate roles and will get experience in hosting, audio and visual recording, and editing. 

Beginning in May - Transportation will be available by request. 

Podcast Recordings are EVERY OTHER Fridays at 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Ages 16+ can enroll in the program on their own. Anyone aged 14 and younger will need parental consent.

Upon Registration, participants sign up for the session they want to attend. To receive program incentives, participants must attend a minimum of 3 sessions.

Incentives for Program:

• Participants can request an FYP advocate to attend an upcoming court date, meet with a probation officer, or meet with a case worker for support. Specifics are determined during the request. In order to provide this, we ask participants to attend at least 3 sessions before putting in the request.
