Đủ Production hân hạnh giới thiệu buổi chia sẻ độc đáo về thực hành giám tuyển của cô Shir Yamaguchi - curator của Bảo tàng Nghệ thuật châu Á Wilfrid Israel Museum. 

Bảo tàng Wilfrid Israel là viện nghiên cứu độc đáo về nghệ thuật châu Á và Israel, được thành lập năm 1951 ở Kibbutz Hazorea, phía bắc Israel. Wilfrid Israel là người Do Thái đã cứu sống hàng nghìn người trong Thế chiến thứ hai và tặng bộ sưu tập Nghệ thuật Châu Á của mình cho Kibbutz, thành lập Bảo tàng Nghệ thuật Châu Á đầu tiên ở Israel.

Hiện tại, bảo tàng đã tổ chức các buổi lưu trú và triển lãm nghệ thuật của các nghệ sĩ đến từ Nhật Bản,Trung Quốc, Hàn Quốc, Ấn Độ và Việt Nam cùng với các dự án với các nghệ sĩ Israel, Ả Rập và Palestine. Với mong muốn chia sẻ sự đa dạng và khoan dung về văn hóa thông qua sự sáng tạo của con người dưới mọi hình thức, thực hành của Shir Yamaguchi khám phá sự gặp gỡ giữa truyền thống tâm linh của Nghệ thuật và văn hóa Châu Á với Nghệ thuật đương đại của Israel, được kích thích bởi tính thẩm mỹ, ý tưởng, thần thoại và câu chuyện kể. Cô cũng là giám tuyển cho triển lãm “Seamline” của nghệ sĩ Bùi Công Khánh năm 2017.

Ddur.production is pleased to present a unique sharing session about the curatorial practice of Ms. Shir Yamaguchi - curator of the Wilfrid Israel Museum of Asian Art.

The Wilfrid Israel Museum is a unique institution of Asian and Israeli art, founded in 1951 on Kibbutz Hazorea, northern Israel. Wilfrid Israel was a Jew who saved thousands of lives during World War II and donated his collection of Asian Art to the Kibbutz, establishing the first Museum of Asian Art in Israel.

Currently, the museum has hosted residencies and art exhibitions by artists from Japan, China, Korea, India and Vietnam along with projects with Israeli and Arab artists. and Palestine. With a desire to share cultural diversity and tolerance through human creativity in all its forms, Shir Yamaguchi's practice explores the encounter between the spiritual traditions of Asian Art and culture with Israeli Contemporary Art, stimulated by aesthetics, ideas, myths and narratives. She is also the curator for the exhibition "Seamline" by artist Bui Cong Khanh in 2017.
