Title: The Artifacts of Covid-Related Virtual Learning: Social Isolation, Screen Time and Reentry

Date: November 3, 2021

Speaker: Jason Roderick, LICSW

Description: Most students, in both secondary schools and post-secondary schools, are preparing for ‘reentry” to live communities and fully live learning for the first time in a year. Many who have never experienced social anxiety or generalized anxiety, are experiencing it for the first time. This reengagement is even more difficult for those students with established diagnoses. How do we best acknowledge, identify and support those students who may be struggling at a greater level, or struggling with something they have never confronted before?
