This is the 6th Annual Kickoff Event for teams in Western PA. Come see the CITY SHAPER challenge set in person and learn what all the missions are. Get advice and tips from Champion’s teams.
Hear from experts related to the theme and get a jump start on your project research. One of experts is Nina Chase, an urban architect who focuses on public spaces. Our second expert is Stephen Lee, the Head of the CMU School of Architecture. His work focuses on sustainable architecture. Please come prepared to ask them both questions. This is your chance to jumpstart your team’s research project.
In addition, the building we are meeting in was awarded LEED status (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) which is based on being sustainable, water efficient, etc.
