In an effort to better understand parent interest and determine the viability of establishing Before and After care at sites across the District, we are asking you to declare whether you would enroll your child in a School Based Extended Day Program for students from Junior Kindergarten up to age 12.

School Based Extended Day Programs operate within the school by an Early Childhood Educator with options for before and after school care and are meant to complement regular school day programming

The program is contingent on enrollment and funded by parent fees.  Subsidies may be available from the County of Renfrew http://www.countyofrenfrew.on.ca/_documents/childcare/FeeSubsidyApplicationForm.pdf.

School Based Extended Day Information:

• Hours of Operation - 7 a.m. until school starts and end of school until 6 p.m. on school days or as determined by licensed child care providers
• Nutritional snacks are provided
• Parents are required to provide transportation (drop off & pick up)
• Activities complement the regular school day program
• Fees range between $25 - $32 per day depending on the various locations
• Parents can select before or after or both day programs
• A minimum number of students is required in order for the program to be offered in schools
