As a participant of the #ue4jam, you and your team get free access to the Assembla platform to collaborate using Perforce, SVN, or Git version control repositories during the jam.

Perforce and SVN repositories support direct integration with Unreal Engine to save and collaborate effectively with your team. Git, with the Git Large File System extension, works well for small projects with experienced developers but does not support direct integration with Unreal Engine.
