I have had the pleasure of taking drama sessions on Tuesdays last year and I'm thrilled to announce that I have a few spaces starting for this new term for years 2 - 6 at Francis Baily.
A little about me... I’ve played the role of Phil Spector in the West End production of TINA The Tina Turner musical and I've worked on stage and screen for over 15 years, having recently filmed episodes of Hollyoaks and Black Mirror (Netflix) I live in Thatcham with my wife and two young children.
www.joeevansactor.comFor the past 15 years I have worked at some of the UK’s most prestigious drama schools and theatres and also locally at The Watermill & Corn Exchange. I have also launched successful after-school drama classes at other primary schools in West Berks. I have a first class honours in musical theatre, a full enhanced DBS and a First Aid qualification.
My teaching style is relaxed and fun, with a real passion to inspire. I have seen first-hand just how much the pandemic years have affected children. I believe drama and performing arts is an excellent outlet that has many fundamental skills that can be transferred to every day life, especially now. I would focus on building confidence, social skills and helping your child find their voice through acting and performance.
Each weekly session (during term time) will commence each Tuesday directly after school and last for 1 hour before pick up at the normal place.
Tuesday evenings 3.20-4.30pm.
The fee for each session will be £6.50 and is to be paid per term in block bookings. Please note a 15% sibling discount is available. (Please complete one form per child)
