RSU 83/MSAD 13 is Accepting ESEA Application Public Comments for the 2022-2023 School Year

RSU 83/MSAD 13 accepts funding through the Elementary and Secondary Act (ESEA) of 1965. We are required to provide reasonable opportunity for the public to comment, and for the application team to consider comments, prior to the submission of the application. We are accepting public comments from July 11 - July 22, 2022. Please consider sharing your thoughts about our application’s goals and priorities:

We intend to fund literacy and math intervention support systems by employing educational technicians who will work at the elementary school to provide interventions for students, providing professional development for educational staff, employing a districtwide math coach and interventionist, and offering extended day programming for students at the Jr./Sr. high school who are in need of extra academic supports.

Parent Advisory Committee Membership

RSU 83/MSAD 13 is seeking parents to participate in a Parent Advisory Committee which meets annually to review Title IA policy and to seek input about how to better extend and reinforce student learning. This committee also reviews and revises the Parent/School/Community Compacts. We hope to build a diverse team that represents the needs of each of our students. It is important to us that all students are represented, including but not limited to those who belong to a minority group, are disadvantaged, in special education, are homeless, and/or use English as a Secondary Language.
