After reading the essay and poem in the post, take a walk
along the shoreline of Brickyard Creek keeping your eyes open for interesting
stones, driftwood, feathers, little things because even something small can
change the way we view our place in the world.
Collect a few stones that seem
to suggest something more, a spirit, a beauty, a sense of place.
Take a
picture, do a sketch, write a journal entry that speaks to how little things
can make a big difference in our lives and in our sense of place.
Describe the experience below or email a picture of your sketch to Jeff Garrett jeffery.byc@gmail.com
