2021-22 K-12 Highland Virtual Academy - Virtual Learning Information and Application
The Highland School District will offer a virtual academy for the 2021-22 school year. The Highland Virtual Academy (HVA) requirements and expectations for the 21-22 school year are different than what we had in place during the 20-21 school year.
Two big CHANGES to 21-22 virtual learning are:
1) Highland teachers will NOT be teaching virtual classes
- students in grades K-6 will receive virtual instruction from Arkansas-licensed teachers through Tri-Region Virtual Program (TRVP - three educational cooperatives)
- students in grades 7-12 will receive virtual instruction from Arkansas-licensed teachers through Virtual Arkansas (VA)
2) Students interested in enrolling in HVA must complete the application, meet the required criteria, and attend a conference before being accepted.
If you are interested in applying for HVA, please read the information included in this form carefully and complete the application. School administrators will review the application, contact you to discuss your enrollment status, and schedule a conference.
