The
HMBV (Heavy Metal Bio-recovery and Valorization) project aims to exploit bacterial biosorption process to remove heavy metals from contaminated environments. In particular, the recovery of heavy metals is studied in extracellular polymeric substances (EPS) produced by bacteria: it is an eco-friendly biotechnology that allows to convert a waste product into a valuable product, since the metal-organic complex can be exploited as biocatalysts or as salts with high commercial value.
This questionnaire will serve the research team as feedback from industrial stakeholders regarding the production process and production of polluted wastewater.
