Voices of Now (VON) devises autobiographical plays and films with ensembles of artists both locally and internationally.
Voices of Now plays/films are fast paced, collaboratively written, physical pieces that pose significant social questions relevant to the ensemble of artists and their communities. A primary goal of Voices of Now is to create positive change within the artists’ communities by engaging in dialogue centered on the unique life experience of each ensemble member.
This workshop will provide the fundamental devising techniques used in VON.

There will be an additional audition workshop for participants interested in joining the VON Pre-Professional Ensemble Wednesday, February 1st, 2023
6:30pm - 8:30pm
VON Pre-Professional Ensemble meet every Wednesday evening from 6:30pm-8:30pm at Arena Stage. The Ensemble will develop an original play to be performed one night at the Voices of Now Festival 2023 in May 17-20, 2023 (Performance date to be determined according to conflicts)
