Since 1968, the Minority Executive Council has been an officially recognized professional organization at The College of New Jersey. Its primary purpose is supporting the faculty, staff, and students of color at The College.

Membership in the Minority Executive Council is open to any faculty or staff member of the The College of New Jersey. Any employee of TCNJ that shares the commitment to MEC’s Mission of "supporting and enriching the overall experience and professional development of faculty and staff of color” at TCNJ is welcome to join.
