My Jewish Year with Base BSTN

Join with us on an exploration of the Jewish calendar this year. Using Abigail Pogrebin's "My Jewish Year: 18 Holidays, One Wondering Jew," we'll meet (approximately monthly) throughout the year in advance of (or during!) Jewish holidays to find new meaning in the rhythms and wisdom of Jewish tradition. Those who commit to attending at least NINE of the sessions will receive a FREE copy of Pogrebin's book.

Please note, it's hard to plan in advance right now, due to the shifting COVID reality. For now, we plan to hold all sessions virtually, with an eye to flexibility as we better understand public health protocols and needs of the group. Below are the tentative dates (all Tuesdays @ 7:30-8:45pmET, unless otherwise noted):

- August 3rd (Elul/Rosh Hashanah)
- September 14th (Yom Kippur)
- THURSDAY September 23rd @ 7:30-8:45pmET (Sukkot & Simchat Torah)
- November 30th (Chanukah)
- January 11th (Tu Bishvat)
- February 22nd (Shabbat)
- March 15th (Ta'anit Esther & Purim)
- April 12th (Passover)
- May 3rd (Yom HaZikaron & Yom HaAtzmaut)
- May 31st (Shavuot)
