FEAST BEFORE THE FAST
Lent is coming!  A season of heart preparation, pause and prayer; a road toward the great Hallelujah! Redeemer family and friends are invited to the Hawthorne Grounds to feast before we enter the Lenten season.  Come grab some supplies for your own Fat Tuesday celebration and resources to use during Lent. There will be live jazz music, crafts for the kids, sweet treats, and fires to keep us warm. Let's begin this holy season together.

Gathering Protocols
We want to be thoughtful and respectful during this pandemic. These protocols are set for love of neighbor to ensure we all do our best to keep this gathering safe.  Therefore we need your help with the following.

1. SELF-ASSESSMENT: Before attending, ask yourself and family this question: In the last 48 hours have you or anyone you’ve been in contact with experienced any of the following symptoms? If so, please do not attend.

·        Fever
·        Cough
·        Shortness of Breath/Difficulty Breathing
·        Headache
·        New Loss of Smell or Taste
·        Stomach Pain or Cramps
·        Muscle Aches
·        Sweats
·        Chills
·        Sore Throat
·        Vomiting
·        Diarrhea

2. WEAR MASK: All adults and children five and over must wear a mask that covers nose and mouth at all times. We also recommend masks for children ages two-four with lots of grace applied when needed. Wearing of masks is especially important upon entering and exiting the event. Masks are required when entering the building. When you need to remove your mask for consuming food or drink, please maintain appropriate social distance.

3. HAND HYGIENE: Hand sanitizer is placed at accessible locations for your use. Please feel free to bring your own for ready access when needed.

4. SOCIAL DISTANCING: Unless you are a family, maintain a six-foot distance at all times.  According to the healthcare providers on our COVID Task Force, outdoor gatherings (even as the weather gets colder) are preferred to indoor gatherings for safety. Masks are required. It is safest to be masked and six feet apart both indoors and outdoors. However, if outdoors and masked, more physical proximity is allowable for a reasonable period of time.

5. RESTROOMS: Unless you are in the same family, occupancy is limited to two people.

6.FOOD: Our food will be pre-packaged or covered and served to you in place or through a pick-up line maintaining social distance. When masks are removed for eating, maintaining social distance is important unless in the same family.

7. NOTICE OF POSITIVE COVID DIAGNOSIS AFTER ATTENDING: Should you or someone in your family have symptoms and test positive after attending this event, please notify the Redeemer Ministry Leader as soon as possible upon discovery.
