This form is for individuals, local businesses and organizations that are interesting in hosting a fridge.
Please note that the VCFP is a collaborative, volunteer-ran initiative working to create a broad network of active and accessible fridges and pantries. Anyone can start and operate a community fridge outside of our network. What the VCFP offers is infrastructure (volunteer organizing, signage, guidelines etc.), so that needs can be met on a larger scale, and ensuring fridge locations are connect and accessible to as many people as possible.
Before filling out this form, please consider the following:
β’ We are aiming to focus our efforts on hosts that represent and serve workers in the community.
β’ Newer businesses that strive to be ethically minded should consider opening their own fridges and we can provide the guidelines we're operating under.
β’ Gentrification plays a large role against the safety and comfort of our vulnerable communities; please be mindful of this when looking to be accessible
β’ Have you checked in with your landlord/property manager/ neighbouring establishments that may be affected?

β’ Is your potential fridge and/or pantry accessible? ( Is there anything in the way that can impede access to the fridge?)
