This is the registration form for the ServeAthens ICN (in Christ's name) event being held from 8:00 AM-1:30 PM on Saturday, October 23rd. Volunteer teams will be serving at a variety of service sites around Athens.
The morning of the 23rd from 8:00 - 9:00 AM there will be a socially distanced ServeAthens kick-off at Ebenezer Baptist Church West (205 N Chase St, Athens, 30606) with worship, prayer and project details being shared (a light breakfast and lunch will be provided for volunteers). This will be located outside in their parking lot where we can properly socially distance.

*We will do everything we can to ensure the safety of our volunteers and those we serve by implementing the use of masks and/or gloves, providing hand sanitizer, and enforcing strict social distancing guidelines.

Landscaping and cleaning the property of a family in need (1420 W Hancock Ave, Athens, 30606, bring your own tools if possible)

Landscaping, tree cutting and gate demolition at the Athens College of Ministry Property on Barnett Shoals Road. Need 8-12 people (4080 S Barnett Shoals Road, Athens, 30605, chainsaws, sledgehammers and tools needed)

Drop off supplies, prayer walking around Hope 139 property, prep for trunk or treat outreach, and distribute bags to kids in the community. 20-25 people needed (225 Freeman Drive, Athens, 30601)

Help Sparrow's Nest prepare for the Keep Warm project. Need 8-10 people to help with hygiene kits, prayer, and prep for the Keep Warm event (745 Prince Ave, Athens, 30606)

Help build a wheelchair ramp and clean yard for a Mercy Health Center patient. 3-4 people needed for construction of wheelchair ramp and 3-4 people needed to clean up the house and the yard (705 Spring Valley Rd, Lot 173, Athens, 30605)

Prayer walking for the neighborhood in need project in Oconee County. 5-10 people needed to prayer walk and engage the people and families in the neighborhood (Location TBD)
