CALL FOR ENTRY form due 10/30: The Filley Festival of Trees, Wreaths, & Decorations Exhibit
A free exhibit for our community in the South Gallery November 14, 2023 through January 10, 2024.

Open to individuals, groups, families, or organizations that would like to decorate a tree, wreath, or wall decoration and loan it to The Filley for the holiday exhibition.

Set up days for the exhibit are Friday November 10th from 9am to 3pm or Saturday November 11th from 1pm to 4pm. Be sure to mark your calendar!

Tree, Wreath, or Wall Decor Name: (the name of your piece will be printed on exhibit labels and  signage) Examples from prior years “Quilted Christmas Joy” Decorated by Apple Patch Quilters. *
Detailed Description of Tree, Wreath, or Wall Decor Theme (Please be specific): Example from prior years: "This 7' tree includes handmade ornaments created by members of Apple Patch Quilters, spool garland, and other sewing and quilting items all in traditional reds, greens, and golds." *

(The total decoration height cannot exceed 8 ft; mini trees are also welcomed and encouraged.)
Electricity is needed for the decoration. *
Trees and wreaths that have lights or need an wall outlet will be assigned a location near an outlet. Those with out lights will be positioned in the center of the gallery rooms. Please provide an extension cord.
I need a wreath hanger. *
Please click Yes or NO below and also include a weight estimate; the museum staff will assist in hanging your wreath either with a command hook or if it is over 5lbs we will hang it with appropriate nails/hangers.

Loan your tree and decorations, wreath, or wall decor to be on display for the duration of the exhibition. Arrange for you or your group to set up and take down your own decoration.

Calendar:

- This interest form must be returned/submitted to The Filley Art Museum by October 31st.

- Participants will be notified of selection (we can accept only 20) by November 4th. 

- Decoration delivery and set up day will be Friday, Nov. 10th (9am to 3pm) and Saturday, Nov. 11th (1pm to 4pm). 

- All decorations must be picked up after the exhibition and before Saturday, Jan 13th at 4pm. Have a theme and decorations but need a tree? Let us know as the chamber has several to loan! Thank you!!
