The Purpose:

The purpose of Junior MDA is to provide a greatly needed program for the girls in our community. This will be a lifelong program that instills confidence, assists in developing life skills, facilitate mentorship, and builds professionalism in our young women.  It will provide an alternative program to young women that is greatly needed.

The girls will have opportunities to apply to the Change-maker Scholarship and participate in different workshops and seminars on professional development. Junior MDA will provide the platform for young women to be an advocate of change through different community service opportunities to be the change they want to see. Junior MDA will provide the role models that have been through the same journey, these will be young women role models who are in Mu Delta Alpha Sorority, MDA alumni, or people who have worked with MDA and have gone through a vetting process by MDA.

Our Vision:

Junior MDA is a school year long program that will help build confident young women. This program will help build self esteem, confidence, leadership, and will provide resources for the girls in the program. Junior MDA will be a program that empowers young women and provides peer to peer mentorship. Junior MDA will provide skills that are needed to succeed in their journey as young women striving for education.

Our Mission:

The mission of Junior MDA  is to empower and mentor young women ages 12-16  Junior MDA members will be participating in a unique program that will help build:
