Include the year, the studio, the city, the age/demographic you taught, the dance style, and the level you taught. For example: 2016-2017, SassClass, NYC, adult women, heels, open/beginner level.

Please provide links to your original choreography. We need to see an example for each of the dance styles you're seeking to teach at SassClass. It doesn't have to be professional footage; phone footage is totally fine.

We'd love to get a sense of how you fill your days and what you're up to in life i.e. Are you in school currently? Where else do you work? etc.

Note that our classes are typically weekday evenings after 6PM and weekends daytime. Assume that this would be an ongoing weekly commitment.

In full transparency: this is not a standard studio teaching gig where you show up for your timeslot each week and just do it your way. We are a tight-knit team who are deeply aligned with a shared mission and values. We have standardized processes and class formats that you are expected to learn and follow. We are in regular communication with our team and expect you to be timely in responses via email, text, and phone.

If we feel that you're a good fit, the next steps will include an interview process, reference check, and sample class. If you're hired, you'll be required to complete a training (at no cost to you) both through independent study using provided materials as well as in-person prior to officially joining the team. You would start out with teaching drop-in classes and may be offered the opportunity to teach our other offerings in the future (separate trainings required).
