The Health and Well-Being of Homeless High School Students
The Institute for Children, Poverty, and Homelessness is exploring data on the health risks and outcomes of homeless students. We are interested in learning more about the realities these students face and are enlisting the help and perspectives of those who work with homeless high school students. Please share as many or as few stories as you would like on each topic. Answers will remain anonymous but may be included and quoted in an upcoming report.
We are interested in context surrounding the following health and well-being issues faced by homeless high school students:
• Mental Health
• Physical Health and Nutrition
• Relationship Violence and Sexual Risks
• Substance Use
• School Climate
• Demographics
