AVAILABILITY
Please indicate when you are interested in volunteering – either for a role at the event itself or in the festival management office, or both: (Rosters and shifts will be finalised at a later date)

Volunteer shifts available at the festival event (in Entertainment Quarter, Sydney) are:

Morning = 09:30-13:30 (4hrs)

Afternoon = 13:00-17:30 (4.5hrs)

Evening = 17:00-22:00 (5hrs)

Or ALL DAY If you can't come at any of these times, that's OK and we will work with you on an alternative. These times are TBC, subject to final numbers we receive. Select your availability below:

Volunteer shifts available in the festival management office (in Entertainment Quarter, Sydney) are flexible between late Sep and Fri 11 Nov 2022.

VOLUNTEER STATEMENT of AGREEMENT

I understand that by volunteering for the Veterans Film Festival, I become a willing representative of Veterans Film Festival.  As such, I will respect and abide by the philosophies of the organisation and conduct myself appropriately at all times during volunteer work.

I understand that the smooth running of the festival depends on the work of volunteers and therefore promise to be both punctual and reliable.

I will endeavour to give the appropriate contact person at least 24 hours notice if I am unable to fulfil my commitments as scheduled.

I agree to undertake any work for the Veterans Film Festival in a responsible and safe manner. If I am unsure or concerned about the Work Health and Safety aspect of the work that I am undertaking, I will seek advice from a supervisor.

I will attend a volunteer briefing/induction session.

I understand that I will receive no financial compensation in exchange for my volunteer work.

VOLUNTEER BRIEFING & INDUCTION

A 1hr volunteer briefing & induction session will be held on Fri 28 Oct (4pm or 6pm) or Sat 29 Oct (2pm) (TBC). We hope everyone can attend ONE of these times. Shifts for the Festival will be assigned at the briefing. If you are unable to attend the briefing event, only the shifts that have not been filled will be offered to you.

As well as information on roles, responsibilities, expectations and benefits to volunteering for Veterans Film Festival, the briefing is a chance to meet VFF staff, board members and other volunteers.
