Journaling for Life (JL)
INTRODUCTION

1. Journaling for Life(JL) is a personalized coaching experience aimed at developing the journaling skill for daily application.

2. It is supportive and therapeutic to all individuals and even more to persons who have undergone distressing and traumatic experiences whether in childhood or adulthood.

3. These include, and are not limited to physical and sexual abuse, neglect, gender-based violence, natural disasters, domestic violence, community violence, fatal accidents, terminal illness, etc.

STRUCTURE

1. Weekly 40-minute practical sessions infused with knowledge on how to successfully and consistently journal.

2. Active engagement on important journaling aspects:
          -The value, power and strength in journaling.
          -Types, forms and application of journaling.
          -Creativity in journaling.
          -Overcoming procrastination in journaling.
          -Applying journaling in diverse contexts.

BENEFITS & OUTCOMES

1. An experienced Psychologist will guide the participant(s) through the sessions and attend to emerging issues from the journaling experience.

2. Practical, creative and fun ways of journaling will be explored and practiced.

4. An e-certificate of attendance by Life Pillars Counseling and Consultancy.

COST & PAYMENT

1. The cost of this journaling experience is Ksh. 2,500 / USD 25 per adult participant, payable in full and in advance of participation.
