Title:                Experience the "Messy Middle" of PBL - Biome Mini-Golf Project

Date/Time:     May 8, 2020  |  8:30am-3:00pm                    

Fee:                  $99.00 per registrant for each school visit. Lunch included.

Come visit Shanahan's 7th graders during the "messy middle" portion of the project path. Become immersed in our afternoon project workshop and see how students research, design, and construct a mini-golf course from scratch while carefully incorporating the “must-have” requirements from their content classes.  Bring your PBL questions for the middle of the day when you participate in the integrated content teacher team's planning session. There is a lot of creativity and choice involved in this final project of the year which involves a visit from one of our local elementary schools serving as an authentic audience for our 701 Biome Mini Golf course. Lunch is provided through our school cafeteria.

2019-2020 Professional Development Refund Policy

•No refunds will be provided if the registrant does not attend or cancels registration less than 14 days prior to the beginning of the book study/workshop.  Please contact Rob Engel at 740.653.3193 x 5270 or rengel@fairfieldesc.org to cancel your registration.
•No registration fee will be charged if cancellation is received 14 days prior to the start date of the workshop.
•Credit card payments will be refunded minus any applicable PayPal fees (2.9% plus 30 cents).
