Thank you for applying for the Tom Bowser Memorial Scholarship.  Tom was a Beaver Area graduate in 1988.  He was a son, brother, a devoted husband, an amazing father, and a great uncle, but to everyone who met him, he was a great friend.  Tom showed such strong qualities that made him into the amazing man he was.  Tom passed away in August 2018 of a heart attack.  Starting this scholarship is just one way his family is keeping his memory alive.

This scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior in recognition of Tom Bowser-like qualities of showing compassion, leadership, inclusion, good nature, and camaraderie while pursuing a high school education.
