2022 Difference Maker Nomination Form
EMPLOYEE DIFFERENCE MAKER AWARD
The Volunteers of America Texas Difference Maker Award honors current employees who project a positive and professional attitude, embrace a commitment to excellence and take responsibility for their actions while promoting the mission and programs of VOA Texas.  Difference Makers go out of their way to enact significant change in the community. They distinguish themselves from others by their dedication and impact.

To nominate an individual for a Difference Maker Award, please complete the nomination form below by Friday, November 11, 2022.

Each employee may submit one nomination per category. VOA Texas has created THREE (3) Categories to recognize employees:

1. THE DIFFERENCE MAKER AWARD – This award is for a staff member that is a top performer, consistently shining and achieving more than expected.  This award honors a staff member who goes above and beyond in carrying out our mission.  They distinguish themselves from others by their dedication and impact. They are the BEST at what they do!  

2. MISSION SPIRIT AWARD – This award honors a staff member who has shown that they are passionate and committed to the mission of Volunteers of America Texas….”Helping America’s most vulnerable.”  This recipient is one who is a role model to others in living the mission every day.

3. ROOKIE OF THE YEAR – This award honors a staff member who has been with VOA Texas for two years or less, but is consistently shining and achieving more than expected – always goes above and beyond.
Each employee may submit one nomination per category.

4.    HERO AWARD– This award honors a staff members who have put the needs of those we serve above their own. Those who are nominated have demonstrated extraordinary service during the midst of a crisis such as the pandemic or the winter storm.
