Speaker Series: Dr. Williams  - Implicit Bias
Please join us for a Q&A webinar with Dr. Williams for an enriching conversation about implicit bias and its consequences for healthcare professionals and patients, and how it relates to the need for health literacy.

Dr. Williams is the new Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Overlook Hospital in NJ and previously held the same role at Englewood Hospital. She is at the forefront of ambulatory education in internal medicine. While at Englewood Hospital, she taught Quality Improvement, and actively mentored residents and faculty. Formerly an Academic Hospitalist at Morristown Medical Center, she developed a Transitions of Care Rotation for interns. She received her MD degree from Howard University in Washington, DC and completed a combined Internal Medicine/Pediatrics residency including a Chief Resident year at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center in New York City.
