The dream of a velomobile
For those who are less familiar with Vélomtek's history, the company was founded in 2016 with the goal of developing and marketing velomobiles mainly in North America. Velomobiles are among the most efficient vehicles for getting around and now incorporate many technologies.
After the development of the VX1 model (a delta with electric assistance), there was the VX2 (same configuration) which was produced in several copies. As the demand for "tadpole" configurations is increasing, Vélomtek started developing a first model (the VT1) at the end of 2019.
The VT1 remains a streamlined trike, but its configuration leads to a very different design on several levels. To better understand the world of "tadpoles", we have built and tested a first simplified prototype of the VT1. See photo below.
After months of R&D, the design of the VT1 is being fine-tuned. The next prototype, much more complete and advanced, is in the manufacturing phase for testing towards the end of the summer.
We are now interested in your desires and expectations for the VT1 bike that will soon be part of your everyday life.
Your answers will help us get to know you better and bring the VT1 to the market more quickly and efficiently.
The data collected will be for Vélomtek's exclusive use.
