Dear BB&N Community,

As we prepare for winter break and the holidays, we would like to share a few important announcements regarding the dining service.

1. Grab-n-go at the Middle School. Parents with children in the Middle School no longer need to complete the lunch form - unless the student has a food-related allergy. In January, we will begin a grab-n-go lunch in the Middle School. Students will make their lunch choice on the spot, and then go to their designated eating location.  This change is being made to: 1)  shorten lines of students waiting to "check-in" to get their pre-ordered lunch, 2) provide time for students to wash their hands before eating (MS students need to do a better job of this), and 3) reduce the burden placed on parents to order lunch.

If you have a child with food-related allergies, please complete the form so that we are able to provide a special, labeled lunch.

2. Lower School Parents - please order before Winter Break. We noticed many people lost track of time during Thanksgiving and forgot to order their child lunch. As we are preparing for the holidays, we hope you can take a few minutes to place your child's lunch order for January. As a reminder, families are encouraged to place their order for the month, and are given 7 days to complete the form (the form will be closed for ordering each Thursday morning). Should you need to order lunch within the month, you can. The form is open for selections until the Thursday before each lunch week.
