Or the course can be completed online via our training platform Equitoolz at a time to suit you. You are registered as a candidate and your progress of completing the units within Module 1 are monitored to ensure completion before Mod 2. Each candidate will require their own email address to access Equitoolz.

Module 1 - This online course covers the medical aspects, garment testing, construction and standards as well as the principles of fitting both riding hats and body protectors. For a timetable of the day please email tina@beta-uk.org.

Module 2 - This practical fitting workshop and assessment will be done remotely on a one to one basis on a date to suit, once module 1 has been completed. We will be in touch with candidates after module 1 has taken place, to arrange a date for this with you at a time of your choice. (To be taken a maximum of 6 months after sitting Module 1)

The BETA certificate of attendance will only be issued once a delegate has completed both modules 1 & 2.

The cost for Module 1 & 2 is:
BETA members: £90 + VAT per person
Non BETA members: £180 + VAT per person
SMS members, ABRS members, BHS Certified Coaches and Riding School staff: £130 + VAT per person
   
We now also offer Module 3, which consists of an online examination paper, which on completion a retailer/ safety equipment stockist, who fits from a range of new stock will gain a 'BETA Qualification in Riding Hat and Body Protector Fitting'.

In addition equestrian professionals/instructors, those checking the fit of an already purchased garment will gain a 'BETA Riding Hat and Body Protector Fitting Check Qualification'. 

The cost for this additional Module (3) is £50 + vat pp for everyone who has done Module 1 & 2.
