Dear Noble Families,

It is the intention of Noble Academy Columbus to offer face-to-face instruction as much as is permissible by Franklin County Public Health beginning on October 19th, 2020. We want our students back in school so that we can continue to provide a high quality instructional program.

We originally announced that our Remote Learning plan would end October 15th. We want to extend our plan one more day and add October 16th as Remote Learning. Our Hybrid Learning Plan will begin on October 19th, 2020, which is a combination of in-person and online instruction.

We want to give you the chance to re-evaluate the current situation and decide on a plan that is best for your family. Committing to 100% online learning for the 20-21 school year means that you will continue to be fully remote until June 4th, 2021.


We are offering 2 types of learning environment beginning October 19th:

1. 100% online learning- students will learn 100% online by participating in live taught classes on Zoom, watching recorded lessons, and completing assignments on the Chromebooks and iPads. Students choosing this option will also receive Specials and Social and Emotional Learning activities.                                                                                                                                            

2. Hybrid Learning- Students will be in school learning either 2 or 4 school days depending on interest and capacity. Students will have in person learning with smaller class sizes and safety and health measures put in place such as increased cleaning, sanitation stations, masks or face shields, not sharing supplies and decreased transitions so that the teachers will move classes and not the students. During remote learning students will be assigned work to complete as well as attending Zoom meetings for re-teaching or additional instruction as needed. Parents and students will receive training on the expectations of Hybrid learning.
Based on the number of students interested in online only learning, we will announce after September 25th whether we will be able to have students 2 days a week in person or 4 days a week in person.
In the case of a 2 day hybrid learning model, students will be assigned in person days (either Monday and Tuesday or Thursday and Friday). These days cannot be selected but will be assigned by Noble based on class caps.
Wednesday will be reserved for deep cleaning and remote learning in both scenarios.
Please submit the Google Form for each of your children by Friday, September 25th. If you do not submit this form by this date, your child will automatically be enrolled in the online option.
