Conditions of Entry
1. The tournament will be conducted under Australian Billiards and Snooker Council Playing Conditions, and all matters pertaining to Players' Code of Conduct will be adhered to.
2. Tournament standard dress is required (Long sleeve predominately plain coloured shirts buttoned at the wrist, bow ties, dress trousers and dark colour dress shoes must be worn for all matches, waistcoats to be worn for Quarter Finals onwards. When the conditions are hot, the Tournament Director may waive certain dress requirements.). Failure to comply with this condition will result in forfeiture of the match.
3. Entry is open to both males and females who are Associate Members (Registered Player) with the QB & SA.
4. The format of the Tournament will be determined by the Tournament Director after all entries have been received. Unless otherwise determined, the Tournament will commence 9am each day.
5. Entries will only be received on the official entry form and must include the entry fee. A completed entry form and entry fee will be required before any player is included in the draw.
6. Players may be required to assist with refereeing during round robin or early knockout matches depending on format.
Referees will be provided by the Queensland Billiards and Snooker Association where possible to assist with early or round robin matches and officiate from Q/Finals on-wards.
7. All players are to report to the Tournament Director 15 minutes before their scheduled starting time, and are to be ready to play at this time.
Any player not in attendance at the scheduled starting time will forfeit 1 frame. After another 15 minutes has elapsed, the absent player will forfeit the game.This also applies to players not correctly attired at the game starting time.
8. This entry form constitutes part of the conditions of entry. Changes may be made at the discretion of the Tournament Director.
9. Only entrants in this competition will be considered for representation in the National Titles. Winning this title does not guarantee nomination to the National Titles.
10. Winner will receive $300 and runner up $150, Losing S/F $100, Losing QF's $50 (prize money is conditional on a field of 32 players and adjusted accordingly).
I AGREE, IF SELECTED, TO TAKE A DRUG TEST AT THE EXPENSE OF THE ORGANISING ASSOCIATION AND IF THE TEST INDICATES A PRESENCE OF AN ILLEGAL OR NON PRESCRIBED IN THE EVENT THE TEST INDICATES A PRESENCE OF ILLICIT DRUG(S), I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO HAVE MY SPECIMEN FURTHER TESTED, AT MY EXPENSE, AT AN APPROVED PATHOLOGISTS LABORATORY.DRUG(S), OR I FAIL OR REFUSE TO TAKE THE TEST, THEN I ACCEPT THAT I MAY BE AUTOMATICALLY DISQUALIFIED FROM THE EVENT AND FACE A POSSIBLE SUSPENSION
IN THE EVENT THE TEST INDICATES A PRESENCE OF ILLICIT DRUG(S), I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO HAVE MY SPECIMEN FURTHER TESTED, AT MY EXPENSE, AT AN APPROVED PATHOLOGISTS LABORATORY.
INDEMNITY: All participants enter at their own risk. Neither the Club, sponsors, nor organisers shall be liable for any loss, injury or misadventure however arising. I have read and understood the above, and I am conversant with the ABSC Players’ Code of Conduct. I agree to abide by any decision of the Tournament Director in relation to this tournament
