A Perilous Beginning is comfortable because it's the second in the Veronic Speedwell series, and we read the first, A Curious Beginning, way back in June 2020. If you didn't join us then, or haven't read it, then consider this a two-book book club event! Read or Re-Read as you need to do, but spoilers will abound, per the usual!
