2023 will be our 10th Anniversary and we have been looking into a potential change to the route and possibly the venue. Every year we get responses that we should "Plan earlier" and "get an escort". Many roadblocks prevent us from doing things the way we WANT to do them. We don't get the event approved for a date any more than 90 days out, this year was only 60 days. Just know that things such as getting an escort and blocking lights are always on the table but are harder to obtain than one would hope. The Mayor of Glendale attended this year and we received very positive feedback from him and some things should be easier moving forward. We also have gotten approval of our own 501(c)(3) non-profit Drop Zone Foundation. This will open many more windows of opportunity to grow not only the Flag Run but allow us to help in more ways all year. So as you fill this out just keep in mind that we do all we can to grow the event and make it fun and safe for all.
