Registration for KIPP Albany Supervised Learning Spaces
This form submits a registration request for your student to attend KIPP Albany's supervised learning space. We have a limited number of spaces available based on social distancing requirements.
We will first open a supervised learning space for all KIPP Albany students (KIPP Tech Valley Primary, KIPP Tech Valley Middle, KIPP Albany Community Charter Elementary and KIPP Albany Community Charter Middle) at ONE consolidated location:
*KIPP Tech Valley Middle School, 321 Northern Blvd, Albany, NY 12210
If we reach capacity based on social distancing requirements at KTV Middle School, we will open a second location at:
*KIPP Albany Community Charter Elementary School, 65 Krank Street, Albany, NY 12202
Students from all four of our schools can attend a supervised learning space at any campus, and your student will be assigned to a location based on your preference, capacity, and transportation options.

Background on Supervised Learning Space
********************************************
- You must commit to five days a week, full days (drop-off between 8:15-8:45 AM, pick-up between 3:30 - 4:00)
- Supervision while students are accessing remote instruction on their Chromebooks, not additional instruction
- Breakfast, lunch and snack will be served daily
- There is no cost to families for students to attend the supervised learning spaces
- Students will be in socially distanced classrooms with 12-15 other students. Students must wear masks except when eating or during a "mask break"
- Students and families must agree to behavioral expectations of the space (working productively and quietly and not disrupting others from being able to learn remotely)
- We are working on providing bus transportation to the space for students who need it
- Spaces will only be open while all four schools are fully virtual, not after a return to a hybrid or in-person schedule
