Survey to assess the possibility of conducting supervised online exams for the second and third year second semester

Dear Student,

We planned to conduct the examinations physically at the University for the second year second semester from 17th to 30th May, 2021 and third year second semester from 3rd to 15th June, 2021. However, it seems that due to the prevailing situation in the country, we will not be able to conduct the examinations physically. Therefore, the Faculty is considering and examining the possibility to conduct supervised online examinations as scheduled (i.e. from 17th to 30th May, and from 3rd to 15th June, 2021) for the second and third year students. In a supervised online examination, the students will be supervised (monitored) through a video conference system (Zoom or Team) during the whole examination. Therefore, as an online candidate, the student should be able to have an environment that is shown in Figure 1.

We have prepared a small questionnaire to collect data about the availability of the necessary infrastructure and the suitable environment for students. Please respond to the following Google form on or before the 29th of April, 2021, so that we can make arrangements to conduct supervised online examinations. Please note that we can arrange physical examinations for a small number of students if they do not have the necessary infrastructure to face the supervised online examination.

Please also note that, if reasonable number of students do not have the required facilities to face the supervised online examinations, we will not have any option but to postpone the examinations until the environment in the country permits us to have them physically at the University.
