Our 5th Grade Class from Owen Intermediate has been offered an amazing opportunity to attend a Field Trip to The Ark in Ann Arbor on Thursday May 9. The concert they will be attending is called Common Chords, and it will dive into the history of American Folk Music, using song and spirituals to tell the story.
This is a FREE performance and is part of our music classes at Owen - every student is expected to attend, unless there is an illness from school. We will be leaving school around 9:30am and returning in time for lunch at 12:15pm. Students will be taking buses to Ann Arbor and back.
