Every year the Scholars Program supports students across the College who apply for nationally competitive awards such as the Churchill, Fulbright, Goldwater, Rhodes, Schwarzman, Truman, Udall, REUs, and more. In honor and recognition of students who took a risk no one compelled them to take, who took on the extra work by taking that chance, who spent countless hours revising multiple drafts, the Scholars Program arranges a celebration for Those Who Dared greatly regardless of whether they won an award along with Those Who Encouraged them. 

Please join us in celebrating these students, the mentors who encouraged them along the way, and the committee members who helped students prepare for interviews and refine their applications. This is a drop-in celebration with light refreshments, so come when you can and stay as long as you want!
